Nickel-Metal Hydride
As an environmentally conscious distributor, we encourage you to consider an emergency backup light with an NiMH Battery, rather than Ni-Cad or sealed lead acid types. Nickel Metal Hydride batteries do not contain harmful lead, mercury or nickel that can contaminate precious drinking water due to careless disposal of the spent battery. NiMH batteries are also easy to store and transport, since their capacitance gels contain earth-friendly metals that are not subject to regulatory control.
