This energy-efficient Black Corded Emergency Light plugs into a standard 120V wall outlet and meets code requirements. One of our most popular battery backup units, it features fully adjustable square LED lamp heads that can be pointed in any forward direction. The MINI-SQ-L-B-CS features a nickel-cadmium battery backup that provides at least 90 minutes of emergency operation during a power outage.

The "CS" in MINI-SQ-L-B-CS stands for "cord set", which means that the unit comes with a plug-in cord, so that it can be plugged in rather than hardwired. This makes it a top choice for installations where access to hardwired power is limited but code-compliant emergency lighting is required.

The unit features a black, flame-retardant thermoplastic housing. Each square lamp head contains 8 long-lasting, bright white LEDs (16 diodes total). The unit only consumes 1.1 watts of electricity per cycle when activated, and draws nearly zero power when AC is flowing through the circuit. Best of all, you will never have to replace the bulbs during the entire lifespan of the unit! The MINI-SQ-L-B-CS series is a modern-looking fixture that's designed to blend with dark interiors and includes a universal mounting bracket that can be wall or ceiling-mounted.

Specifications

Unlike older emergency lighting, LED units eliminate heavy, short-lived sealed lead-acid batteries and instead use long-life nickel cadmium (NiCad) cells, which are lighter and more cost-effective to replace. In the event of a power outage, these units provide a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency operation, with actual runtime often exceeding this requirement.

The MINI-SQ-L-B-CS is UL listed for damp locations, making it suitable for most indoor and protected outdoor applications when shielded from direct sun, rain, and snow.
