Our durable Aluminum Self-Testing LED Exit Sign lasts much longer than a flimsy plastic sign. It's a perfect solution for businesses such as hotels that need a UL924 compliant egress with a 6” ‘EXIT’ legend that can be seen up to 100 feet away.
The 400U-WB-BL-G2 comes equipped with Guardian Self-Test/Self-Diagnostics (G2), a factory-preset monitoring system that requires no field adjustments. It continuously monitors AC power, battery condition, and charging circuitry, using a bi-color LED indicator to provide instant visual notification of system status or faults for simplified maintenance and enhanced reliability.
Construction
The 400U-WB-BL-G2 sign features a rugged cast aluminum housing frame and 'EXIT' faceplates. A clear lacquer finish protects the sign from greasy fingerprints or other surface contaminants. Every faceplate has an easily accessible hinge and latch design that allows access to the unit's LED strip and battery.
The Aluminum Self Testing LED Exit Sign has a design that allows for removable ‘EXIT’ faceplates that allows for either single- or double-sided configurations, with knockout directional chevrons(arrows) that make any exit strategy configuration possible. Our 400U-WB-BL-G2 comes with a mounting canopy and hardware that allows for a ceiling, flag, or flush wall mount installation.
Battery
The 400U-WB-BL-G2 is powered by a maintenance-free Nickel Cadmium(Ni-Cd) battery pack that provides up to 90 minutes of emergency backup power all while requiring only 24 hours to fully recharge. Ni-Cd offers an average lasting time of 15 years, making it the longest lasting battery type currently available.
Approvals
The 400U Series is UL listed for damp locations and meets the requirements of UL 924, the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, the NEC, and the California Energy Commission Title 20.
