The 902EX-R-WB-RC-BA-G2 is a Recessed Mount Self-Testing Edge-Lit Exit Sign with a slim aluminum design for commercial applications.
When you’re updating older buildings like City Hall, you want exit signs that stay out of the way, look good, and work when you need them. The 902EX-R-WB-RC-BA-G2 is a slim, recessed wall sign that does just that — and it comes with battery backup so it keeps running if the power goes out.
This is a single-sided, wall-recessed sign with a backbox that tucks neatly into the wall. The trim comes standard in white, but you can pick other colors if it needs to match the space. The sign stays lit during regular operation and will run for at least 90 minutes on battery power, meeting UL 924 requirements.
Construction
The steel backbox and junction box recess fully into the wall for a clean, professional look. The exposed trim is powder-coated with a durable finish.
The EXIT panel is high-polish acrylic with a gentle, “waterfall”- style edge. The letters are molded into the panel in red or green for consistent, even lighting. The standard unit is clear, but you can swap in a reflective Mylar or white insert if you like.
Battery
The 902EX-R-WB-RC-BA-G2 comes with a maintenance-free 6-volt Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery pack that keeps the sign running for at least 90 minutes during an outage. It recharges in about 48 hours, and these batteries are known to last a long time — often 15 years or more.
A push-to-test button and LED indicator on the trim make it easy to check that everything’s working. If the battery, LEDs, or wiring have a problem, the LED flashes to alert you.
