The W-PREMDN-R is a specification-grade self-testing LED exit sign featuring a durable snap-together thermoplastic housing and advanced self-diagnostic technology. Automatic self-testing continuously monitors battery, charger, and circuitry performance. Available in multiple finishes, legend colors, and mounting options, the Premier Series offers the flexibility to meet the needs of virtually any application.

The W-PREMDN-R is a premier exit sign that uses high-output Red LEDs that consume less than 3.5 watts of electricity and features a contoured plastic design that is pleasing to the eye.

Construction 

The W-PREMDN-R features a durable, injection-molded thermoplastic housing with a white finish. The lower housing has rounded corners and a graduated faceplate that lends beauty and dimension to this premier fixture. It includes a plastic universal mounting bracket & hardware for ceiling or flag(end) mount configurations.

This Spec Grade Self Testing LED Exit Sign features bright red Light Emitting Diodes (LED) that evenly illuminate the 'EXIT' stencil. Knock-out directional chevrons allow you to point right, left or right/left. The W-PREMDN-R includes two exit stencil faceplates and a solid backplate, allowing you to make this specification-grade marker single or double-sided in the field.

Battery

This W-PREMDN-R model includes a maintenance-free, Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery pack. It provides emergency backup power to the exit sign for at least 90 minutes, and only requires 48-hours to fully recharge. Ni-Cd is the longest-lasting battery type available, lasting an average of 15 years.

A push-to-test switch and LED pilot light on the side of the exit sign housing allows you to test the emergency readiness of the fixture, per UL924 code. The Self Test (ST) microprocessor will automatically run 30-second tests every sixty days, and 90-minute tests every year, as well as constantly monitor the battery and lamp readiness.
