The 900C Series combines the sleek, architectural look of an edge-lit exit sign with ultra-low-profile, fully adjustable recessed LED emergency lamp heads for a clean, modern aesthetic.
The S900C-R-R-AG-G2 is a Recessed Mount Self-Testing Edge-Lit Exit Sign Combo ideal for offices, classrooms, corridors, lobbies, and other indoor commercial spaces. It includes Self-Test/Self-Diagnostics, a factory-preset monitoring system that requires no field adjustments. It continuously monitors AC power, battery condition, and charging circuitry, using a bi-color LED indicator to provide instant visual notification of system status or faults for simplified maintenance and enhanced reliability.
The S900C-R-R-AG-G2 is UL 924-compliant, includes battery backup, and remains illuminated at all times during regular operation. When the power goes out, it keeps running for at least 90 minutes, as required by code. It’s available in single-face (clear) or double-face (mirrored) versions and mounts easily to a recessed ceiling and recessed wall mounting. Includes recessed mount hardware. Choose from Red or Green high-output LEDs to illuminate the 6-inch EXIT legend. Directional chevrons are field selectable. Self-testing models have two adjustable 1.5W LED emergency lamp heads.
Construction
The unit comes standard in a brushed aluminum finish, providing a clean, modern look. The trim is also available in Black and White finishes. The housing is steel or aluminum with high-grade acrylic panels.
It includes stick-on directional arrows to point people where they need to go. Single-face signs stay clear, while double-face models use a mirrored insert to keep things looking open and uncluttered.
Designed for recessed ceiling installation with access above the plenum, the unit houses all electronics and batteries within the enclosure. A plug-in battery connector simplifies installation, and all necessary mounting hardware is included.
Battery
This model uses maintenance-free Nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries that provide 90 minutes of emergency lighting and recharges in about 24 hours.
