The 900C Series is ideal for offices, classrooms, corridors, lobbies, and other indoor commercial spaces requiring a minimalist aesthetic for emergency lighting combined with an architectural exit sign. The S900C-SM-R-AG-G2 combines an edge-lit exit sign and emergency lighting in one fixture. It comes equipped with Self-Test/Self-Diagnostics, a factory-preset monitoring system that requires no field adjustments. It continuously monitors AC power, battery condition, and charging circuitry, using a bi-color LED indicator to provide instant visual notification of system status or faults for simplified maintenance and enhanced reliability.
The S900C-SM-R-AG-G2 is UL 924-compliant, includes battery backup, and remains illuminated at all times during regular operation. When the power goes out, it keeps running for at least 90 minutes, as required by code. It’s available in single-face (clear) or double-face (mirrored) versions and mounts easily to a wall, ceiling, or junction box using the included canopy. Choose from Red or Green high-output LEDs to illuminate the 6-inch EXIT legend. Directional chevrons are field selectable. Self-testing models have two adjustable 1.5W LED emergency lamp heads.
Construction
The unit comes standard in a brushed aluminum finish, giving it a clean, modern look that complements indoor commercial spaces. The trim is also available in Black and White finishes. The housing is steel or aluminum with high-grade acrylic panels.
It includes stick-on directional arrows to point people where they need to go. Single-face signs stay clear, while double-face models use a mirrored insert to keep things looking open and uncluttered. A canopy is included for surface mounting, along with the hardware needed.
Battery
This model uses maintenance-free Nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries that provide 90 minutes of emergency lighting and recharges in about 24 hours.
